When   I   started   studying   astrophysics   after   the   political   change   in   East   Germany,   I   initially   had   the   hurdle   of the   English   language   that   is   typical   for   East   German   scientists.   We   were   trained   in   Russian,   but   we   didn't see any need for the English language. To   learn   this   language   autodidactically,   I   used   the   children's   books   by   J.K.   Rowling   on   the   magician   Harry Potter.   I   found   these   books   very   suitable   for   my   project.   The   vocabulary   was   somewhat   manageable   at   the beginning   and   grew   as   the   exciting   story   continued. The   plot   developed   in   such   a   way   that   I   read   every   book to   the   end   and   incidentally   the   vocabulary   was   memorized.   So   I   could   completely   do   without   the   annoying vocabulary learning. J.   K.   Rowling's   invented   in   their   famous   children's   book   series   about   the   Magican’s   pupil   Harry   Potter,   the platform    nine    three-quarters    at    the    King’s    Cross    Railway    Station    in    London.   You    just    have    to    walk courageously   on   platform   nine   against   the   wall,   to   get   from   the   real   world   into   the   fictional   world   of magicians. In   the   world   of   science   would   also   be   desirable   a   clean   separation   through   a   wall,   for   example,   between physics   and   metaphysics.   Unfortunately,   the   walls   have   been   torn   down   in   the   last   century   and   so   the boundaries   are   difficult   to   detect   even.   It   is   not   the   aim   of   closing   the   boundaries,   but   they   have   to   be   put back    to    mind    in    order    to    distinguish    between    fiction    and    reality.    Nothing    is    worse    than    losing    the orientation. She   also   succeeded   in   portraying   the   Hypris   of   black   magicians   vis-à-vis   ordinary   people,   the   Muggles. The very word Muggle  contains the whole attitude of this guild. Leonard   Susskind   also   describes   this   hubris   in   his   book   The   Black   Hole   War .   The   parallels   between   these sectren-like   structures   that   are   described   are   so   obvious   that   I   was   prompted   to   adopt   the   Muggle   term, especially   since   an   entire   generation   internalized   the   adventures   of   Harry   Potter,   whose   parents   were   killed by   a   black   magician   Has.   Even   today,   it   is   harmful   to   a   physicist's   career   not   to   submit   to   their   peer   group discipline. It   is   not   my   concern   to   close   the   boundaries   between   the   real   and   the   fictional,   but   they   need   to   be   brought back   into   consciousness,   since   mathematics   as   a   humanities   can   cross   these   boundaries,   which   physics   as   a natural   science   must   respect   if   it   wants   to   depict   reality.   Today   even   trained   physicists   find   it   difficult   to distinguish between fantasy and reality. However, nothing is worse than losing your bearings. We   want   to   get   help   from   natural   philosophy.   The   term   metaphysics,   which   means   as   much   as   behind physics,   comes   from   Aristotle   and   refers   to   the   order   of   his   treatise   and   means   the   things   of   the   mind   and what   happens   to   it.   To   put   it   in   a   nutshell,   one   can   say   that   metaphysics   is   everything   that   arises   from human   imagination,   without   having   found   a   counterpart   in   reality.   This   also   includes   non-falsifiable scientific   theories   such   as   the   standard   models   of   cosmology   and   particle   physics.   These   theories   cannot   be refuted because they are outside the world of experience and are pure speculation. Unfortunately,   no   dialogue   about   the   contradictions   in   their   standard   model   is   possible   with   the   leading astrophysicists,   because   despite   many   attempts   by   various   experts   on   various   occasions,   they   refuse   to engage   in   any   dialogue. Anyone   who   is   so   arrogant   about   trying   to   fathom   God's   will,   as   St.   Hawking   put   it in   his   book   A   Brief   History   of   Time ,   cannot   hold   a   technical   discussion   with   people   without   magical   blood, such   as   engineers,   although   these   high   research   goals   are   financed   from   tax   revenue   from   society   in   order   to benefit   this   society   and   not   to   serve   private   reasons.      So   there   are   astrophysicists   on   the   one   hand   and engineers   on   the   other.   The   engineers   are   Muggles    in   this   game   because   they   do   a   solid   job   that   is controllable,   while   astrophysicists   are   currently   moving   away   from   verifiable   facts.   Since   the   beginning   of the   space   flight   era,   so   many   facts   have   been   gathered   that   the   mainstream   theses   of   astrophysicists   are   no longer   tenable. The   Mugglebibliothek   has   set   itself   the   goal   of   gathering   facts   about   space   and   reinterpreting them on the basis of natural philosophy.
